Mathematical programming with emphasis on mixed integer programming under uncertainty (both stochastic and robust optimization).
Development of theory and methodology for solving these problems with a special focus on decomposition methods and polyhedral approaches.
Application of solution methodologies to industrial problems, in areas including but not limited to production planning, supply chain management, healthcare, transportation science and energy management.

I am happy to annouce that Mariam Sangare has joined the team EDGE for a postdoctoral research position. Mariam will work on the EDF-Inria Challenge with Boris Detienne,
Aurelien Froger, and myself. Prior to joining our team Mariam has completed her PhD thesis at University of Montpellier under the supervision of Michael Poss.
A revised version of our paper "Two-stage and Lagrangian dual decision rules for multistage adaptive robust optimization" has been submitted and is available online.
This is joint work with Maryam Daryalal and Merve Bodur.
I am excited to be part of the research team that received a research grant from ANR during the 2024 campaign. Our project is called DDROP and unites a consortium of researchers from University of Montpellier-CNRS (led by Michael Poss), ESSEC Business School (led by Ivana Ljubic),
and University of Bordeaux-Inria (led by Boris Detienne). The project proposes to study robust optimization problems with decision-dependent uncertainty set structures.
It will fund 2 PhD thesis as well as a 2-year postdoctoral research position.
Our paper "Uncertainty reduction in robust optimization" is accepted for publication in Operations Research Letters. The full version is available online. This is joint work with Michael Poss.
I was happy to participate as a lecturer to the Robust Optimization School 2024 (June 3-5) that took place in Montpellier, France. See here for more information.
Many thanks to Michael Poss for the organization.
I was excited to present some of my recent work during the Robust Optimization Webinar series. Full video of this talk can be found here .
Many thanks to Jannis Kurtz and Ahmadreza Marandi for the organization and the invitation.
I am excited to be part of the EDF-Inria challenge with Boris Detienne,
Aurelien Froger from team EDGE . The challenge will unite different research teams from Inria with R&D teams from EDF.
Our team will be working on long-term strategic planning problems under uncertainty with Bernard Fortz and Frederique Semet from team INOCS, Inria-Lille and Rodolphe Griset and Cecile Rottner from EDF.
Our paper "KidneyExchange.jl: A Julia package for solving the kidney exchange problem with branch-and-price", accepted for publication in Mathematical Programming Computation, is now available online.
This is joint work with Jérémy Omer and Fulin Yan. Full text is available here.
I am happy to annouce that Patxi Flambard has joined the team EDGE for his PhD thesis. Patxi will work on the ANR-JCJC project DROI.
His thesis is on primal and dual bounds in two-stage robust optimization and co-advised by Boris Detienne and myself.
Our paper "Two-stage and Lagrangian dual decision rules for multistage adaptive robust optimization" has been submitted.
This is joint work with Maryam Daryalal and Merve Bodur.
Congratulations to Théo Guyard for having received the Best Student Paper Award at ROADEF 2023.

I am happy to have participated as a lecturer to the Winter School on Robust Optimization and its Applications that was held in Avignon, France. Many thanks to Michael Poss and
Rosa Figueiredo for the organization.
I am grateful to have received a young researcher grant from ANR (Agence National de Recherche) for my project DROI. This project proposes to study primal and dual approximation approaches for two- and multi-stage
robust optimization problems and will fund a PhD thesis as well as a 1-year postdoctoral research position.
Congratulations to Théo Guyard for having received the Best Poster Presentation Award at Journées SMAI-MODE 2022.
I am honored to have received the Prix Robert-Faure (3rd place). This is an award designated by the French operations research society (ROADEF) to young researchers (under 35) for outstanding contributions in the field of operations research.
I share this honor with Axel Parmentier (1st place) and Amelie Lambert (2nd place).
